During Caine's first week off, the upstairs is demo'ed to the studs and beyond. Four tiny bedrooms became one giant mess room with the help of Todd, my dad and Mike, our friend. All the while, I was still living at the other house with the kids in school, receiving these pictures in my email!
Caine and his father, Cliff, as well as Todd and Mike began putting it all back together again. Of course, I can't find any of those pictures! Yet another thing to argue about with Caine! We settled on two bedrooms, 1/2 bath and a closet for Caine's hunting and military paraphernalia. And Caine was able to raise the ceiling to a staggering 8.5'- something we might regret when we have to paint!

We combined two rooms: the "paneled" room and the "pink" room, to make one large room with his and her closets. We decided to keep the brick chimney exposed.

Girls' Room-
Yes, they are sharing-shocking, I know. We combined parts of the hallway and hall closet with the "purple" room. It ended up being about 10' by 12' including the nook shown in the first photo designed for built in bunk beds!
